1964 Matchless G80CS Competition Scrambler in Little Rock, AR

Rarely ridden, yet quite unique and enjoyable when experianced. This Matchless Scrambler is legendary in the history of motorcycles. Made in England by experianced metal workers and forged by hand to some extent, the character of this machine is 'un-matched'!The new-like condition of the chassis and other external parts suggest very low milage with 1755 and four tenths miles showing on the odometer. Tires have nearly new tread and are fit for road use. Engine starts as per common procedure and performs strongly. The exhaust valve internal oiler is adjusted to flow a generous metering so as to promote longevity of the guide. Not in perfect condition, the oil tank has a shallow dent but does not adversely affect function or performance. The usual imperfection here and there of surface rust and oil spot of grime where the cleaner missed is evident. However, the bike is not far from a ready show piece.
